I have already completed the Haute Route four times.
In 2024, I participated in the Pyrenees edition for the second time. The experience was incredible, with the scenery and iconic climbs being particularly memorable.
What makes the Haute Route unique is that it gives amateur cyclists, with a reasonable level of ability, the closest experience to a professional stage race, like the Tour de France.
To future participants, I’d say: you can do it! Just sign up, it will motivate you to train and prepare properly.
