A team of enthusiasts, ready to give it their all to make you live an extraordinary experience!
Fergus
Occupation: Speaker
Born in Manchester, Fergus moved to France in 1993 where he fell in love with the surrounding mountains. A resident of Courchevel for 15 years, he admits to sometimes getting bored on skis… but never on his bike!
In 2013, he joined the Haute Route adventure, initially as the Lanterne Rouge, and later as a speaker. Beloved by participants, he has become an essential pillar of the Haute Route. No introduction needed! (Well, except for here)
What drives him? Motivating the riders in the morning and making them smile in the evening upon their arrival, even after so much effort.
Angélique
Occupation: Customer Care
Angélique was born in the Alps, lives in the Alps, treks in the Alps, skis in the Alps, cycles in the Alps. So, without hesitation, she accepts to embark on the Haute Route 2024 adventure.
As the privileged point of contact for participants (via the email address hello@hauteroute.fr), Angélique handles all your requests: registration, accommodation, transportation, services, and more.
Her goal? To take care of you and ensure the highest quality of services.
JFA
Occupation: Race Director
The Haute Route is a bit like one of his children: JFA (Jean-François Alcan) has been overseeing all the sporting aspects for over 10 years. Throughout the year, he roams the Alps and the Pyrenees to craft meticulously designed routes for you, with passion!
During the event, he operates from the lead car (number 1) and is responsible for the race, rankings, and routes.
Marius
Occupation: Director of Haute Route
Hailing from a family of passionate Burgundian vineyard owners with a love for cycling, Marius visits the Alps and the Pyrenees every year to witness the Tour de France riders alongside his grandfather and cousins. A former high-level junior cyclist in both road and mountain biking, he naturally gravitates towards the world of cycling after completing his studies.
As the conductor of the Haute Route in the Alps and the Pyrenees, he will be available at the village and during the race in the lead car (number 2) to ensure that everything unfolds seamlessly.
Adele
Occupation: Communications Manager
Nurtured on the Tour de France since childhood, Adèle is a proud representative of the #CouchPeloton and is fortunate to make a living from her passion.
She oversees the communication of the Haute Route in all its aspects: web, social media, and media.
