ENRICO – ITALIA 🇮🇹

Everyone should experience at least once in their life a real stage race in some of the most beautiful cycling destinations in the world.

Enrico - 34 years

I have participated in eight Haute Route events: four in the Pyrenees, two in the Alps, one in Ventoux, and one in the Dolomites.

For me, the Haute Route embodies the essence of a stage race for amateur cyclists. The core of cycling, in my opinion, lies in challenging mountain stage races, and Haute Route events are the only ones that provide this unique experience.

I love the concept of multiple stage races throughout the season, especially when I can ride with my friends as part of a well-organized team (the HBFS team). I’m particularly fond of the Pyrenees and the French Alps since I live near the French border and adore the iconic Tour de France climbs.

What I value most are the challenging stage profiles, the significant total elevation gains, and the safety provided by the neutralized descents.

For me, the Haute Route is also like a sports holiday.
